I am a 46 year old woman with Parkinson's disease. My father has it and his father had it. It began with an uneven gait and no arm swing. It has gotten progressively worse since I was diagnosed 9 years ago. I was working as an admin for a large airline. It got to the point where I couldn't attend a meeting without moving constantly, or walk when the meds wore off. I was popping sinemet every 2 hours. The sinemet made me sweat and they would wear off if I got nervous. I was a mess, so I left my job. I had DBS surgery in Sept of 2008 on my right brain and in Nov of 2009, completed
