I retired in February 2010, shortly after my diagnosis in January 2010. I have time now to slow down, spend time with my husband (who also retired), and be with my family more often. We have three grandchildren (2yrs, 5yrs, and 11yrs). We were able to do a cruise in March, and then another in July with our daughters and their families. I'm thankful for a very supportive husband, family, siblings and friends. I enjoy gardening, reading, the dog park, grandkids and road trips. I'm enjoying retirement so much that sometimes I forget I'm a PAL. Keep on keeping-on!
