I am newly diagonised with MS. I am 45yrs old, I work for 2 podiarist. It's a small office and my co-workers are pretty neat people. I am married and have two children a daughter who is 27 yrs old with 1 new baby (1St) and 3 step children. I enjoy being with every chance I get. They're all a great little family. My son is 23 yrs old and at 18yrs of age he was in a horrible car accident and become a quadriaplagic. This has been a really hard thing to accept, they said he probley wouldn't live, it was that bad, they had to give him 6 units of blood when they found him, there were several other times he almost during the first 8 surgeris (there have been more) he was in rehabliltation facilities for 1 1/2 year. Needless to say this has been very hard on all of us. He not talking to any family members at this point because he had made some bad choices and feels his family is not supporting him enough. Hopefully this will change in short time. I have one sister who lives in california and one brother who lives Alabama, and he is married to a wonderful person. My Dad passed away about 5 years and my Mom just remarried and really nice guy and they seem pretty happy and enjoying life!! Last but not least--my two dogs Rufus and Roseco. they are schnauzers and have different personalities. They are pretty much my dogs and I take them wherever I go when at all possible. My husband thinks I'm a little crazy about the dogs because he says I treat them like people, I have to agree.
