I was dx 8/07. ALS began in rt hand. Knowing something was wrong I contacted a neurologist who dx'd me & immediately sent me to California Pacific Medical Center (Forbes Norris) in SF for confirmation. In hindsight, I first felt weakness in 10/06 during a yoga class but tried to ignore and overcome. I fell 12/1/07 & fractured my rt wrist & also developed a frozen rt shoulder. This resulted in major loss in use of right arm & hand. I'm afraid yet inspired by what so many of you have posted. Pictures taken March 2008 at Rancho la Puerta w/daughter Wendy.
