I was diagnosed on January 22, 2008 at about 10:30pm in the ER. Somehow I don't remember it being a bad experience, just one that finally gave me answers. The shots, the medications, they all seem like part life now. It's getting to be summer. Except for the whole heat sensitivity thing, I love summer. Living close to the beach helps. I made it through another school year. I can feel almost all of my toes and can walk without dragging my foot (too, much). I've been on a basically vegan for almost months, it has really helped my symptoms. Such a restricted diet is sort of tough, but nasty symptoms are worse.

My 3 and 11 year old girls keep my activity level up, way up! Throw the dog in the mix and I really don't ever sit.  My sweetie is a Navy corpsman, he makes in our lives and the lives of many others.
