Advice & Tips: I needed this drug without even realising it. I had been referred to a heart specialist for weird increases in heart rate, fainting etc. I had been hospitalised and had several heart tests done. My consultant finally came to the conclusion that due to the other symptoms, loss of voice, swollen throat sensation, shortness of breath, she thought I had a form of silent reflux where the acid in my stomach was leaking up into my throat and down into my lungs causing all the symptoms, without typical heartburn pain. Within a few days the symptoms had all gone and am now being moved to a maintenance dose.
