More About mollymac
I've been hopping from specialist to Dr. trying to find the answers why I felt the way I did. in high school I was always tired. Physical activities always sapped my strength. 10 years ago I started having double vision, numb arms and hands, shaky hands. And this horrendous pain in my lower right rib cage (went to 4 Dr's for that with no results). Before that I had bowel problems and forever had bladder problems. Anyway, finally after my 3rd neuro ordered MRI; had it for migraines, the results came back possible MS. This neuro said can't be, you're too old (55) and you don't have the symptoms, it's just white matter...this is the Dr who fused my neck! I went to neuro #4 who did VEP & 2 lumbars because he didn't believe the first one with bands; that age thing again. Am searching for Ms Neuro. It's great to find what the heck is wrong with me at age 55. It makes sense of my past. Between "older age", fibro, pacemakers and MS I can't tell why I'm falling apart...and I have a LOT of parts to fall apart!!!!!!!! But at the same time????? Ha ha
I love PLM; there is a great support group here and I couldn't believe the symptom list, everything I have been going through with others like me. It's like coming home.
