What is Kaletra?

The combination of lopinavir and ritonavir is used with other antiviral medications to treat human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) in patients with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS). Lopinavir is a protease inhibitor. Ritonavir increases the amount of lopinavir in the body so it works better.
