What is Artichoke Extract?

Jarrow Formulas’ Artichoke 500 Extract is standardized to contain 15% chlorogenic acid and 5% cynarin. Artichoke extract is made from the leaves of the artichoke plant and is said to stimulate liver activity, increase healthful levels of HDL cholesterol and stimulate synthesis of bile.
