What is Sumatriptan subcutaneous?

Sumatriptan is a selective serotonin receptor agonist used to relieve the symptoms of migraine headaches. It works by narrowing blood vessels and stopping pain signals in the brain. Sumatriptan does not prevent migraine attacks. The injectable form is used because it acts faster than oral tablets.
