What is Peripheral Neuropathy?

Your peripheral nerves are the ones outside your brain and spinal cord. Symptoms of peripheral neuropathy often start gradually, and then get worse. They include numbness, pain, burning or tingling, muscle weakness, and sensitivity to touch.
