What is epithelioid sarcoma?

Epitheloid sarcoma is a rare type of soft tissue sarcoma that often involves the upper extremities. Initially, it often feels like a hard lump. This type of sarcoma is known for distant metastases. Treatment most often includes surgical removal, occasionally amputation.
