What is Periodic Limb Movement Disorder?

Periodic limb movement disorder involves repetitive limb movements that occur mainly during the light stages of sleep. Movements primarily arise in the lower limbs which may interfere with restful sleep. It may be present with Restless Legs Syndrome.
