What is RLS (Restless Legs Syndrome)?

Restless legs syndrome (RLS) is a neurological disorder characterized by unpleasant sensations of the legs and an urge to move them for relief; usually occurs during or just prior to sleep. Primary RLS is often associated with family history of it. It may also occur secondary to other conditions.
