Caregiver newdresswoman     I am a caregiver. I love my work, I love to caring for other people who needs my help. Whenever I have a free time, I surf the net for forever new dresses. I just shop online because I don't have much time to go to malls and buy women's dresses. Icon_message
Caregiver kstafne kstafne sstafne sstafne I'm a caregiver to my husband Scott and mom to our daughters Eva, 3 1/2, and Miranda, 7 months. I enjoy gardening, wine, photography, and spending time with my family. I used to enjoy beating Scott at Scrabble, tending a huge garden, ballroom dancing, going out for breakfast to read the paper in relative peace, playing Boggle, traveling to other countries...and many other things that ALS has taken out of our lives. I also work full time as a management and technology consultant, which I find brings me a great deal of satisfaction, accomplishment, and respite from caregiving. Icon_message

Caregiver Long Suffering     Retired in 2002 after 30 years in the Computer Services business. My wife was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 1998. We still live an active life including allotment gardening, DIY, cooking and entertaining, enjoying and supporting a family of 4 married offspring with 7 grandchildren, socialising with the local village community. I enjoy all sports, play a bit of golf and enjoy a bi-weekly pub drink with friends. I am Treasurer of a local club and do volunteer work in any spare time. Icon_message
Caregiver Snowman Snowman I am a managment consultant and car enthusiast. I collect and race old muscle cars and sports cars, particularly Corvettes. My wife and I were married in 2004 and she was diagnosed in 2006. She is a complete inspiration, given how she has taken on the challenges in front of her. I think we've done a great job with keeping people in the loop and, at the same time, giving her the room and the privacy to work on staying as healthy and fit as possible. I'm happy to help if you have questions about that. Icon_message

Caregiver missyann missyann safreeman Russ Conley, safreeman I am a full time caregiver for my mom Sharon. I have been taking care of her for over a year now and it is the most challenging thing I have ever done in my life. I watch a few kids for income and I have a six year old boy of my own (Trevor). He is in first grade and keeps busy with homework. I am currently going through a divorce and that is about it. Other wise I have been very busy with taking care of mom. She was just tached and vented two weeks ago and so she is keeping us very busy. But she is doing well with everything. That is me on the far left in the green shirt. Icon_message

Caregiver spacetwink     I am a caregiver and an avocate for probate conservatorship reform. The illegal conservatorships of our loved ones in thier golden years is a terrible injustice created by greety, corrupt and evil probate system. More and more the stories are being told of the abuse in the probate courts allowing people to take over the lives and finances of elderly persons all across our nation. Please help us stop the torture of our elderly loved ones. Icon_message

Caregiver girl_smiley girl_smiley     My name is Valerie. I am Caregiver for my husband David who has Multiple System Atrophy with Orthostatic Hypotension. We have been married for 20 years now, and have 5 wonderful children. I currently work at UTEX Corporation in Weimar 50 hours a week to support medical costs for our family. David is currently receiving SS benifits, but has to wait 5 more months for his Medicare Insurance to kick in. It has been a tough road, but we take 1 day at a time. At least my work is 1 mile away so I can stop in and check on him during the day, and our high school daughter does the same. Icon_message
