What is Carbidopa-Levodopa 25-100?

Levodopa 100 mg, a dopamine precursor used to treat the movement disorder symptoms of Parkinson's disease is combined with carbidopa 25 mg. Carbidopa is often included with levodopa-containing drugs in order to boost its efficacy by slowing down the metabolism of dopamine.
