What is Hydroxyurea?

Hydroxyurea is an antineoplastic drug used in the treatment of cancer that suppresses the production of blood cell precursors in the bone marrow. It is also used in the treatment of certain leukemias, carcinomas, HIV, and sickle cell anemia.
