What is Rosiglitazone?

Rosiglitazone is an antidiabetic agent used for type 2 diabetes to improve glycemic control as an adjunct to diet and exercise. It may be used in combination when diet, exercise and a single agent do not result in adequate control. Off label it is used for polycystic ovary syndrome.
