What is Guaifenesin?

Guaifenesin is an expectorant drug used to thin mucus in the airways to make it easier to cough. It is also a mildly uricosuric medication and is thought to remedy some time of chemical imbalance in the body that is causing the symptoms of fibromyalgia.
