What is Aquatic (Water) Exercises? Aquatic exercise therapy refers to any program of stretching, lifting and exercising of limbs that takes place in water. Water exercise is a gentle way to exercise joints and muscles. Water supports joints to make movement easier, while it may act as resistance to help build muscle strength.
