What is Pronizon?

Pronizon is an international name for prednisone, a corticosteroid that decreases inflammation and suppresses the immune system. It is used for many purposes including relapses in MS; for rheumatic disorders; neoplasms; collagen diseases. Prednisone is activated by the liver into prednisolone.
