What is Clexane?

Clexane is an international brand name for enoxaparin, a low molecular weight heparin that is used to treat acute coronary syndromes including unstable angina and heart attack. It is also used to prevent deep vein thrombosis (DVT) for at risk patients and to treat acute episodes of DVT.
