What is Detrol LA?

Detrol LA is a brand name for a long acting preparation of tolterodine is an antimuscarinic drug used to treat bladder urgency. It reduces strong sensations of needing to go the bathroom urgently by relaxing the muscles which contract when the bladder needs to be emptied.
