Dextromethorphan-Quinidine Treatment Report

What is Dextromethorphan-Quinidine? A dextromethorphan-quinidine combination was studied for its effect on inappropriate laughing and crying episodes experienced by some patients with brain injury or brain degeneration due to certain diseases. The incongruous laughing and crying episodes are due to pseudobulbar affect.

Advice/Tips
My doctor wants me to have an EKG and bloodwork done every few months because Quinidine is a heart drug that has been around for years, and he wants to keep an eye out for side effects.
