What is Thalidomide, Dexamethasone? Induction therapy for transplant and non-transplant candidates with multiple myeloma. Thalidomide is given by mouth daily for 4 weeks; Dexamethasone by mouth on days 1-4; 9-12; 17-20 during odd cycles and then days 1-4 only during even cycles. One cycle lasts 28 days and is repeated every 28 days.
