What is Acidophilus plus Bifidus?

Acidophilus is considered a probiotic, outcompeting more harmful microorganisms for their food supply. A bifidus factor is a compound that specifically enhances the growth of bifidobacteria in either a product or in the intestines of humans and/or animals. They are used together to aid digestion.
