What is Sleep Apnea machine? Sleep apnea is usually treated with a machine called CPAP (continous positive airway pressure), which blows air into the nose via a nose mask, keeping the airway open and unobstructed. For more severe apnea, a Bi-level (Bi-PAP) machine is used to blow air at two different pressures.
