What is Pristiq?

Pristiq is a brand name for the drug desvenlafaxine, a serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI). It is an extended release formulation believed to treat depression by affecting the levels of serotonin and norepinephrine, two neurotransmitters associated with depression.
