What is Alcytan?

Alcytan is an international brand name for citalopram, an antidepressant in a group of drugs called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs). It affects chemicals in the brain that may become unbalanced and cause depression. It is used in the treatment of depression.
