What is L-Glutamine?

The most abundant amino acid in the body, synthesized by most body tissues and absorbed from food sources. Glutamine supplements, available in capsules and powder formulations is said to improve brain function, stabilize blood sugar, improve muscle function, metabolism and wound healing.
