What is Venofer IV?

Venofer® is a brand name for iron sucrose, an iron salt, that is given via IV infusion for the treatment of iron-deficiency anemia in chronic renal failure, including nondialysis-dependent patients and dialysis-dependent patients receiving erythropoietin therapy.
