What is Combivir?
The combination of Lamivudine (Epivir) and Zidovudine (AZT, ZDP) is used to treat human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) in patients with or without acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS). Lamivudine and zidovudine are in a class of antiviral medications called synthetic nucleoside analogues.
