What is Diazepam? Diazepam is a benzodiazepine used to manage anxiety disorders, alcohol withdrawal symptoms; skeletal muscle relaxant; seizure activity; muscle spasms. Off label it is used for panic disorders; preoperative sedation, light anesthesia, and amnesia.
