What is Methotrexate?

Methotrexate is an antineoplastic drug used in the treatment of cancer. Also used as an antirheumatic for rheumatoid arthritis. Off label use in treatment of Crohn's disease and ectopic pregnancy. Experimental use in MS. It is given by mouth, by injection, via IV or intrathecally.
