Generic Name: Tizanidine

What is Tizanidine? Tizanidine is a centrally acting alpha2-adrenergic agonist. It is a skeletal muscle relaxant used for treatment of muscle spasticity. Off label it is used for tension headaches, low back pain, and trigeminal neuralgia.
