What is Drisdol?

Drisdol®is a brand name for vitamin D2 (ergocalciferol). It is used for the treatment of refractory rickets, hypophosphatemia, hypoparathyroidism; dietary supplement. Off label it is used for the prevention and treatment of vitamin D deficiency in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD).
