Generic Name: Acetylcysteine
ACC Long, an international brand name for acetylcysteine, is used to treat abnormal or viscid mucous secretions and as an antidote for acute acetaminophen toxicity. Off label it is used to prevent renal failure from a reaction to radio-contrast dye and to treat intestinal obstruction syndrome.
