What is Risperdal Consta?

Risperdal® Consta® is a brand name for the injectable form of risperidone, an atypical antipsychotic agent used to treat schizophrenia, manic or mixed episodes in bipolar I disorder, and agitation related to autism. Off label it is used for Tourette's syndrome and Alzheimer's dementia.
