Advice/Tips
I have taken both Prozac and the generic version, fluoxetine, at various times and in various doses. I believe, and my doctor and therapist agree, that the brand-name Prozac works better for me, with more consistent, reliable emotional stability and near-total relief from symptoms of depression. The cost is higher for brand-name Prozac, but IMO, it's worth it.

Advice/Tips
As my doctor said, "Prozac was great in the nineties, but medicine now is so much better." I've had a great decade on Prozac, but it no longer meets my anxiety requirements, and I am unwilling to use clonazepam often enough to control the anxiety.
