Novo-Citalopram is a Canadian brand name for citalopram. It is an antidepressant in a group of drugs called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs). Citalopram affects chemicals in the brain that may become unbalanced and cause depression. It is used in the treatment of depression.
