Hiccups (hiccoughs) Report

A hiccups (hiccough) is an involuntary spasmodic contraction of the diaphragm, causing a beginning inhalation that is suddenly checked by closure of the glottis (middle part of the larynx, the area where the vocal cords) are located causing the characteristic hiccup sound.
