What is Cardiac Stress Test?

A cardiac stress test is used to evaluate the heart and vascular system during exercise. It assesses if signs or symptoms of heart disease become apparent when the heart is stressed and if underlying heart disease is evident, help to determine the severity so treatment options can be considered.
