Sulfasalazine is a 5-aminosalicylic acid derivative used for ulcerative colitis and rheumatoid arthritis. Off label it is used for ankylosing spondylitis, collagenous colitis, Crohn's disease, psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, juvenile chronic arthritis.
